ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS TO ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

(2020-2021 Academic Year)

A-GENERAL PRINCIPLES:

Firstly the candidates who will apply should be;

1. Those who are studying or graduating from a school equivalent to Turkish high schools,
2. Those who get the base score and above from the following exams will be accepted.

B-CANDIDATES WHOSE APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPETED:

1. Foreign nationals.
2. Those who are Turkish citizens by birth but lose their Turkish citizenship and those who certify that they have a blue card, which is given upon their request.
3. Those who acquired Turkish citizenship after being a foreign national (dual nationals).
4. Turkish citizens who have completed their secondary education abroad.
5. Those who are TRNC nationals and have GCEAL exam results.

BASE SCORES FOR APPLICATION1)      The base scores and conditions obtained from the following exams are sought from the candidates for application. a)       According to the Kayseri University Foreign Student Directive, “It is necessary to get at least 50 points from the Foreign Student Exams held by State Universities.b)      At least 1000 total points from SAT 1, at least 500 points in mathematics,c)       A minimum of 21 points in ACT (American College Testing) Mixed Mathematics and Scientific Logic,d)      GCE (General Certificate Examination / A Level Certificate) At least 3 A-level Certificates, one of which is related to the program applied for,e)       to. I.B. (International Baccalaureate) having an International Baccalaureate Diploma and having a diploma grade of at least 28 according to the department to which they will apply,f)       A maximum of 4 points from the ABITUR (German Baccalaureate) exam,g)      Having a FRENCH BACHERALIA diploma and a diploma grade of at least 12/20,h)      At least 80 points out of 100 from the TAWJÎHİ exam held in JORDAN and PALESTINE from all courses in Scientific Stream,i)        Those who have a diploma grade of at least 14/20 in the branch of science (Scientific Stream) in the BACQUALIA (Baccalaureat Libanais) exam held in LEBANON,j)        AL-SAHADA-AL TAHANAWİYYA (Syria, Libyan Baccalaureate), Scientific Stream, 180 points out of 240 for Engineering and Architecture departments, at least 170 points for other departments,k)      At least 480 points out of 750 in the score type of the program applied in the university entrance exam (GAOKAO) held in the People's Republic of China,l)        At least 50 points in the Turkish Republics and Turkish and Related Communities Exam (TCS),m)    Those who win gold, silver and bronze medals in the International Science Olympics recognized and attended by TÜBİTAK,

1. Diplome Debirestan and Pişdaneşgahi (Iran); High school diploma grade (Diolome Debirestan) average in Iran is at least 17/20 and "Pişdaneşgahi" graduation grade is at least 17/20,
2. Kazakhstan National University Test; At least 90 points out of 120.
3. At least 60 points from the Uan (Ujian Akhir Nasional) Exam held in Indonesia,
4. Those who get valid scores from the University entrance exams conducted by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center,

2) The base scores of the exams not mentioned above are decided by the commission.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION:

1. "Equivalence Certificate" to be obtained from the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in their countries or the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, showing that the original high school diploma and the high school diploma are equivalent to the diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools.
2. The original of the Examination Result document,
3. Original passport and notarized copy translated into Turkish,
4. Bank receipt showing that the contribution fee has been paid to the relevant bank specified in the announcement, in the amount announced,
5. Candidates coming from outside of Turkey from their countries or the closest Turkish foreign representations; The "Education Visa" to be obtained from the Provincial Police Departments for the candidates in Turkey,
6. The original of the foreign language - Turkish proficiency certificate, which has international validity, approved by the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in their country,

7. Residence permit,8. Foreign Nationals Identification Number,9. Two (2) 4,5x6,0 size photographs (Photos must be taken from the front in the last 6 months and in a way that can easily introduce the candidate),

IMPORTANT NOTE:       Since the applications will be made online, the requested documents will not be sent separately by mail, fax or e-mail. 

EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT FEE: One-hundred-Turkish-lira (100.00 TL)       It will be deposited to the account number 1000-04000030 at Halk Bank Kayseri Erciyes University Branch. IBAN NO: TR95 0001 2001 2410 0004 0000 30 (It will not be returned.) 

APPLICATION DATES:August 25 – September 03, 2021 Until the end of the working hours (17.00) 

EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS 1. The applications of the candidates will be evaluated by the Commission.2. A 10% country quota will be applied in the programs to be determined by the Evaluation and Placement Commission of our University for student admission applications from abroad.3. The base score coefficients to be used in the application will be determined by the commission.4. The results of the Exams held in 2021 are valid.5. Acceptance letter will be sent to the accepted candidates by our University. Candidates are required to go to the Turkish Embassy in their country (or the nearest) with this letter of acceptance and obtain an "Education Visa". A student visa is absolutely necessary to enter Turkey and register at our University.

6. Evaluation of applications and placement of candidates are entirely at the priority of Kayseri University. Kayseri University is free to fill the quotas or not. Additional quotas may be announced when deemed necessary. Meeting the application conditions does not require acceptance for placement. Applications of candidates who do not meet the application requirements will not be evaluated. The registration of the candidates who are determined not to meet the application conditions will be cancelled.
